Diagnosed with pcos 9 yrs ago now trying toconcieve no symptoms but over weight

I was diagnosed with pcos due to an ultrasound done on my lower tummy because I would get really bad cramps on peroid. Had a year old at time and just gave birth to a little girl..no lab work done not diabetic I have reg. Peroids my bloid pressure is perfact I'm 5"6 I weighed 260...at time if diagnosis...made life style changes I weigh 235 now...my husband at time got vasectimy...now seporated...and ben trying to concieve for last 3months...could I be misdiagnosed....I'm 40 now and really want another baby...I bleed normal I've lost weight I'm not a big sugar eater....how do I know for sure I'm steryl or not
