Spotting after sex..

Last night my husband and I BD, we didn't go that deep I didn't think anyways, I went to pee right after and I as I wiped I had light pink spotting. Did our sex cause this? Is his start to my period? No bleeding today. My AF is due tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback.
