Oh Hayley that's rubbish!! I hope the midwife can help. By the time you get to that scan you will have gone crazy with worry and then even if everything is ok you'll feel you have missed out on precious weeks of enjoying your pregnancy.

Yeah that's my main thing im annoyed about. I feel so bad that im not enjoying it but then I cant. All I want is just some reassurance. Im may just try booking a private one as looking at how things are now I really don't think midwife will be able to make an earlier appointment.

Oh Hayley can't believe that's the date they gave you. I really don't understand how they are not sending you for an early one. Its terrible that you can't enjoy the pregnancy. If you think it won't change then yeah I would go with a private scan, shocking you have to do it but it will help put your mind at ease. Have you any symptoms yet?
Rustic those are great pictures. Its hard to believe they were 10 weeks ago at this stage. Look at how much he has changed. Laughing that you got someone else to take them but totally right to do it. DH can take every other pic. Glad the colds are starting to clear up.
Aww Hayley congrats, hope u manage to get an earlier scan. The letter always refers to ur dating scan between 11 and 14 weeks so asking for an early one can be seen as separate because it's an appointment with the early pregnancy unit normally. I would try ur community midwife and if no luck try ur doctor to see if they will refer u. I had spotting from 5 weeks so got a scan that way but I know others who have just mentioned the anxiety and got a scan between 7 and 9 weeks.

Had some really bad braxton hicks on Sunday night! To the point even hubby was panicking haha. Roughly every 5 mins for 2 hours until I finally got in the bath about midnight and that eased them! Had our 4d scan this week too. Baby was hiding between the placenta and his cord so the pics aren't clear but was lovely seeing his little face !

So far, so good. Scan yesterday showed lots of eggs developing at similar rate. Left side is lazy compared to right! But nurse was pleased - have another scan tomorrow to see how they're progressing. Retrieval hopefully mon or weds! Eek.

Beu in answer to questions from a while back (I'm so sorry) I'm 28 which I'm presuming is why gps before have brushed me off. But today I started my af and I feel fabulous lol! So it means I get to have my first blood test for hormones tomorrow and get this show on the road! I just hope they are open on a Saturday! Can't believe it has been 80 days since my last one!

Got annoyed with clinic yesterday - went for scan first thing and nurse said all looking great. She went to check with Dr /embryologist and came back to say egg retrieval Monday and explained when to stop injections and give the one off one. So went home dead chuffed. DH and I sorted everything out with our respective workplaces. DH also had to cancel a physio appointment that was already bumped back once. Then just after 1pm they rang and breezily said can I book for scan on mon coz retrieval is now going to be weds! Grrrr. Also means DH Prob not around for transfer. Even though it's not essential it's disappointing having thought we'd fit it in before he had to go away with work. So have had to re-rearrange everything. But feeling calmer after acupuncture. If it means better chance then it's worth it.
Thanks looby! Went to the walk in blood centre at the hospital and got straight in Blood test went well need to wait 3 weeks for results now. But I also need to get another blood test on cd21 to see if I'm ovulating.
That's awful of them to be so blasé abut it. Don't they realise that people have lives that these things affect. It's sad that your hubby can't be there but just think of the end game and the beautiful family you could have hope everyrhing goes well for you! Xx
Oh that's great khw. Glad you got the bloods taken ok. Make sure you get the full results when they come back. And check TSH (thyroid) result if they do that as part of day 21. Mine was just below 4 which is normally normal but fertility Dr wanted it below 2.5 so it was too high as far as she was concerned.
Well im all booked in for egg collection weds! Trigger shot in 90 mins then am jab free till after collection. Hurrah!

to be honest this af has been really good, I do t know if it's the relief of it being here but it feels really different? I dunno it just feels proper Compared to the ones bwfore. I have already warned hubby that he needs to build some stamina for 2 weeks time! Lol. May not need the other tests it would be nice to not have the "deeper swabs" that have been lined up!
My midwife rang me Saturday to try and make booking in appointment but I missed the call as was out. I rang back but she didn't answer so I haven't spoke to her. She left me a voicemail saying she wanted to come round that day as she is off until the 12th October. Im guessing she will ring me now when she is back which is only next week and then I can see what she says. I had my blood test yesterday so just got to wait now xxx

I was at the midwife last week and baby is head down and engaged so she said that explained the braxton hicks and to expect more and also lots of back pain because he's pushed right back in my pelvis. Glad he's making himself comfortable in there hehe!

egg collection was not as bad as I expected. The drugs helped! Lol. Just taken it easy all afternoon while they get on with it back at the lab! They retrieved 10 which they said they were happy with and DH's sample was good too so fingers crossed. Just got to wait for phone call tomorrow to find out what they got up to!

khw make a note of your progesterone levels from the 21 day bloods too, if they are below 16 I know a good cream that could help, it worked for me!
