Unusual period

me and my dh are ttc are 3rd and final baby and have only been doing so for 3 months. This month was a strange one, for around 5/6 days leading up to my period I started with creamy cm, then period came which was only 3 days long and very very light, I usually have 5 day periods starting heavy then eventually going light. Now it's the day after my period ended and I have alot of watery cm which again is unusual as I'm usually dry for around a week after. I did a test the day my period started and it was negative so I'm confused, is this normal? I've never had it like this before. I barely had any symptoms of a period either which I normally do, lots of cramps, craving sweet stuff, aches and pains etc.
