Chemical pregnancy advise

Hi I just need some advice really. My period was due last Friday (20th Jan) But I had been having a small amount of brown spotting starting on the 18th. i got a positive pregnancy test on Saturday and then started bleeding heavily on MondayI was really devestated. I was sent to the hospital where they did two pregnancy tests that were negative and took blood saying they would phone me in a few days. the blood is really different to my usual period blood and every time I wee more comes out, it also has lots of clots in it and is stringy (sorry tmi). I have been having slight cramps. I'm guessing this is a chemical pregnancy? I just wondered how long will the bleeding last? Thanks for any help or advise x

It doesn't sound like a chemical to me.... chemicals don't implant And just pass with your normal period.... it's really common and usually just pass with the period.... only early tests pick them up when we are TTC.
It sounds to me (only an opinion) like yours implanted but didn't stay.... so would be classed as an early MC not a CP fingers crossed that may be the bloods will be positive xxx
Just found this.... looks like it can be heavier with clots but backs up the early testing theory x

Thank you, the bleeding seems to be slowing down a bit now. xx
