Old Wives Tales & Theories - conceiving a girl?

Hello! Apologies for the ‘nosy’ thread!!
My husband & I are very blessed with two beautiful boys. We are currently TTC and although we will be happy with either gender (we honestly will!) it would be nice to have a little girl.
I’ve briefly looked at gender swaying and it seems like a lot of contradiction to be honest! (I can see the logic in some of it - hubby thinks it’s a load of twoddle!)
I’m intrigued to know what circumstances you conceived your little girl in and whether it has any credibility.
So, those of you with girls willing to answer...

Did you conceive near ovulation?
Did you have the big O? Did you follow ‘girl’ positions? (TMI, sorry!)
Was the Chinese calendar right?
Did you have a high calcium diet?
Did you drink caffeine/alcohol?
Did you take any supplements?

I have 2 girls. Had a big O with both.
I conceived both while ovulating.
Can't remember the position!
Chinese calendar WAS right!
Not high calcium diet.
No booze, but deffo caffeine
Only took folic acid.

Hi ya I did everything it said when trying for a girl I am havin a other wee boy Chinese was wrong it told me a girl it’s a boy think it really just down other half sperm x

Hubby doesn’t buy into all these theories and thinks it’s 50/50! I find it fascinating though!
Suppose we will wait and see.
Just hoping to get pregnant first!
