Implantation bleeding??

Can implantation bleeding happen when you're due your period? I've read that it can and it can't so bit confused..

    I'm in the same boat, I have had bleeding come same date at my period, but its the lightest period I have experienced plus lasted 4 days, no clots light pink colour
