  • Time just flies doesn’t it.
Awww it’s hard being pregnant in the heat! Hopefully they’ll book a scan for you soon. That will help to put your mind at rest. I know it’s so scary though!

    Xxx
  • my god ladies, anyone else struggling in this heat???? Matilda can’t sleep and neither can I- I like the sun but the nights are awful!!🙈🙈🙈

@missmyangels how are you feeling? Have you booked a scan yet?

@Louise 111 how are you doing?

    how is everyone else?

    xxxxx
  • @EmJ3 it’s awful Charlotte is waking around 1.30-2am she lays in my bed but I get up & wander until she’s asleep & put back in cot!! It’s way too hot for 3 in a bed 🥵🥵🥵 I love the sun but our house is staying at 30 on Charlottes monitor it’s horrendous! If we go up the garden at 8.30 to enjoy & cool off we get bitten 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Honestly 75 is ample for us & the kids!!
luckily we have a 12ft overground framed pool an absolute life saver!
Been bathing Max & Charlotte in a large box at 8.30 9pm to cool them down before bed 🤣 nobodies inBed b4 9.30 really they r too hot

in attempting to book in can’t find a number anywhere & I’m too hot to concentrate but I absolutely must this week as I’m 11 weeks after the wkend!
  • @missmyangels that pool looks amazing!! They look like they’re having a brilliant time. How cute are max and Charlotte together!

yeah get a scan booked- although you’ll be a nervous wreck, you have to go.xxxx
  • Just spoke to my local hospital/ midwife you have to go to Kings College for scans The PRUH my local our now not scanning anymore so I’m having palpitations as I’ve got to go to London no partners allowed for any news 🤷‍♀️😢 I’m devastated!
private 15 minute scan is £79!
  • How far is it for you to go to London MMA? That sounds a bit of a nightmare. Have they booked you in? Just keep thinking that all will be well and imagine the celebration when you get to tell hubby x
  • @missmyangels is that the cheapest private one near you? It might be worth seeing if there’s any others a bit cheaper?
I totally understand how scary it would be going on your own!

    @Louise 111 how are you doing?xxx
  • Hi emj. I’m not great to be honest but got to keep plodding on and the children keep me busy. Hope you’re ok xx
  • yes that’s in Bexleyheath 5-10 min drive for a private scan but £79 for a 5 min scan 15 min in total ( 1 picture) or not as the case maybe !
    Not feeling positive as always!
@Louise 111 are u coping ok? Has anything happened at all or are u still hanging in there it’s the worst part:(
@EmJ3 & @Louise 111 holidays are nearly over Maxs Scl start back date is 5th think it’s a Friday how crazy it’s an induction day probs for getting used to the idea of a bubble of 8 & packed lunches in class rooms no scl dinners until Oct earliest at our scl!
Finish times are staggered by 5 minutes tell that to the mums that hang around for an hour waiting to gossip 🤣?!!
    Only 1 parent drops/collects
start time the same but we have to drop & run not aloud to stand!
Going to be interesting to say the least!!
    what about your schools?
Lucys 2ndry scl has a shit tonne of new rules and regs allocated a loo to use & its disinfected between use & they are escorted!! She’s not impressed 🤣
lunch with ur bubble of 8 not meeting with ur mates she’s devastated 🤦🏻‍♀️ Oh no social life in scl how terrible haha!!

  • @Louise 111 I meant to says London is 20 minutes on the train I’m in walking distance of the station about 10-15 minutes from Falconwood & straight run to Denmark Hill The Foetal Medicine hospital is a 5 minute walk . Paul will come & stand outside they are aloud in should it be for support /bad news or decisions to be made with a mask & escorted its so sad this is our new way of life
  • @Louise 111 that’s totally understandable. You’ve been through so much. It’s such an emotional roller coaster. 😘😘😘

@missmyangels what do you think you’re going to do about a scan then? You have to be as positive as possible although I know that there’s an element of self preservation too!

my school are in year group bubbles- I’m not as excited as I usually am about going back. I usually love meeting my new classes etc but it’s just not going to be the same.
I’m not too sure about my daughter’s  school yet- she’s going into year 11. My son’s primary school seem quite strict. It’s a class bubble though so bigger
    than 8!

Would you say this is a positive opk? Im struggling to decide! Only my second month doing them after coming off of the pill and im struggling to decide either way for this one!

    Thanks,
    Izzy
  • @Elamfo its definitely high but may not necessarily be your peak OPK, I would test every 6- 12 hours just to see if it gets darker. Either way its a good time to start BDing if you havent yet.
  • @Poca92 thanks so much! Will continue testing to see if it's my peak!
  • @Elamfo
If it’s not your peak it will defo be the following day
remember the 4 day run up is very important & you are already there by the looks of that test

@missmyangels thank you! Gives me hope that my cycle is returning to normal after hormonal contraception! They were very faint yesterday. Did another one a short while ago which was lighter than this morning so I'm guessing that was my peak! Will probably continue testing for the next couple of days just to make sure. it's so nice to be able to discuss this all with people here as we are keeping the whole ttc thing to ourselves for now!
  • @missmyangels how are you doing? Do you have a scan booked yet?

@Louise 111 how are you doing?

    xxxx
  • @EmJ3
All ok here no early scan given I was gutted so up to Kings I went! Honest to god my legs were going from underneath me walking in that scan room on my own :/
they kept talking about what happens next & I just kept saying please don’t get ahead of yourselves I need 1 step at a time 🤦🏻‍♀️
Anyway all is ok for now 😊 but ( always a but!)
I need another CVS I had one with Charlotte as Downs came back 1 in 90 which is quite high!
meant to be done today got to Kings and f*** me bloods hadn’t come back so I have to wait it out until Tuesday so I’m a nervous wreck 😱😢
Midwife did booking in over phone today so small steps.
Obviously I can miscarry during CVS only an under 1% chance but it can happen:/ 5 days after I’ll get results so it’s all up in the air at the moment and my BP is very high 🤷‍♀️😢
🤞🤞🤞 is all I can say for next week
    Legs 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻

  • @missmyangels I totally understand that there’s still loads to worry about but can I just say... for now, that baby is absolutely gorgeous!!! And it’s bloody brilliant news!!! Love the scan pics!

You have to celebrate the good moments or they pass you by because of worry!

the scan itself must have been very scary on your own- you’re very brave!!

    🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 For next week!!!xxxx
  • So happy for you MMA xx
