@SwithR thats a good plan, will you use pre-seed ect? - When do you expect to ovulate? x
Hi... so I am in India we dont get preseed here... have ordered it through a relative but will only get it end of next month.
As per Flo I ovulate on CD 11 and I am now on CD 9. Have promised myself no obsessing over OPKs etc atleast for the next few months.
What about u? Feeling any symptoms ?
  • @x-Alice-x We are going to make him a shirt that says big brother and let him open it ☺️ I think he will be super excited since he’s been asking for a baby sibling for 4 years
  • @x-Alice-x don’t give up hopes yet! Trust your body it knows what to do. Just give all it needs and stay positive. I’m more or less same boat with you. My af should arrive in the end of week or next week. So fingers crossed the af won’t arrive this month for us! Xxx
  • @SwithR its a very good idea not too stress and obsess, i wish i took my own bloody advice *eye roll* - i have everything crossed for you this week! enjoy the baby dance! ;)
i feel tired, stressy, having crazy vivid dreams, very gassy (tmi) but all those things are not out of the ordinary for me ...im trying to not think of these things as symptoms as like ive mentioned im very obsessive and ive been wrong SO many times about symptoms...i really feel in my gut that its not worked...AF due on Sunday so should start feeling some cramping by Friday...fingers crossed i dont :(

@Rachel.a21 thats a lovely idea! i bet he will be a ball of  happiness! what a lovely way to surprise him, will he want a boy or girl?

@Latte96 Thank you for your kind words....i know we've done everything possible so i really hope im wrong but i have a nagging initiation saying its not our month :( oh well - we will see.....ahh OK so we are similar then! mine says due on 22nd but i vary between cycle by a day or two...I PRAY WE GET OUT BFP's!!! are you having symptoms? xx
  • @x-Alice-x He ONLY wants a brother 😂😂 But I really want a girl! I would love to have one of each
  • @x-Alice-x I had cramps 4 days ago, then a small drop of blood next day. Been constipated for last 5 days and in last two days my lower back is hurting a bit. But that might be because I have work at the computer and I sit for long hours. Nothing else really... Feeling ok. How about you?

Hi ladies, I haven’t posted on this site for a while. We started ttc in January and so far no luck. Coming off the pill has unearthed lots of endometriosis symptoms, including mid cycle bleeding, long cycles (40-45days), lots of pain.. and I have been under investigation from 6 months trying as I already have a 6 almost 7 year old and I’m only 26 so the GP agreed it was very odd that I was not falling pregnant. In August we finally got a positive progesterone blood test which meant I had ovulated, but very late in my cycle, around day 32. They are now talking about surgery for the Endo and I have a hospital referral the beginning of October. However we are still ‘trying’, not to dates or days or times, but we are just having sex regularly without any pregnancy prevention.
I am hoping this is a lucky thread for us all! @x-Alice-x 20months is a long time, I have everything crossed for a natural BFP soon x
    Hi, nice to meet you!
Im sorry to hear about your potential Endo diagnosis. You are still very young and if it came to it im sure you could freeze eggs still - as far as i know having endo doesn't affect your eggs or their quality.
I find tracking my cycles difficult enough without having to pinpoint ovulation around day 32 so i do sympathize.
It sounds like you are doing the best thing and not stressing too much and just enjoying DTD regularly. My best friend has had the endo surgery (with the pain in mind rather than fertility) but she said it has done wonders!
Im not sure where you are located but my friend has found an Endo specialist in Portsmouth which she is waiting to be referred to so it might be worth finding out if there is one near you? Maybe ask your GP?

This is now my 21st month! :( i'm rather fed up at this point as i'm sure you can imagine. I did fall pregnant when i was 18 which ended in termination but its very strange it hasn't happened again for me :( Especially as ALL the checks for me and my partner came back as fine. Its all rather odd and im just PRAYING that we get our BFP by the end of this year. xx BABYDUST TO EVERYONE! X
  • @Rachel.a21 well whichever you get someone is going to be VERY happy! what does your OH want? x
  • @Latte96 i have been very gassy, tired, emotional (stressy), the slightest bit of presure in my lower tummy, feeling a little sick here and there. Also having VERY vivid dreams.
Not really looking into the above too much though as ive been wrong MANY times and i usually get my hopes up :(

Sounds like you may have had implantation bleeding which i hear is a good sign...can you remind me how long you have been TTC? i think it sounds fairly positive. x
  • @x-Alice-x 21 month is a long time... This month for me is 13th and I’ve been crying out my eyes out every month. So I wish you luck and lots of baby dust! It’s going to happen one day! X

@x-Alice-x what dpo are you now?
  • i'm 11dpo - AF due on Sunday and i'm dreading it....i really feel like ill be much more emotional this month as we really did EVERYTHING we could...i feel like we both got our hopes up a bit this month more than any.
I'm also planning my best friends baby shower this month and my little sisters gender reveal party on Saturday....so lots of contributing factors to worrying about this weekend....i soooo don't want AF to visit....ill be over the moon if i wake up on Sunday to dry knickers  :D
    How about you?
13 months is still a very long time...to have this worry - have you been actively TTC the whole 13 months or were you just seeing what happened to begin with?
id say that we were 'just seeing what happened' for the first 12 months! it was only after a year that i even thought to call the GP and start tracking my cycles....probably a bit naive of me. xx
  • @x-Alice-x keeping yourself busy, thats the best we can do atm. My af is due on Sunday too, so will be testing if af doesn’t arrive earlier lol. Hope yours won’t and you get your bfp!
Well when we started TTC first few months were just like let’s see what happens, but after 2-3 months I started to track everything. After 8 months I got very nervous and dragged my husband for a checkup. Early, but I wanted to know. We both were perfectly healthy... so we just kept trying. My friend mentioned - for some couples it just not meant to be, because of blood mismatch and blah blah... I wanted to choke her lol. It could be true, but I strongly refused to believe it.
Baby dust for you and hope we get our bfp this weekend! X

Hi sorry to jump in again. Scientifically there is no such thing like bloods don't match, you may be just unlucky, each cycle is only 30% chance. Do you track bbt? Did you check if u ovulate normally? Sometimes some woman have less eggs sooner than the others and that may cause ovulation to occur only every few cycles.
  • @x-Alice-x OH says he’s fine with either, but he kind of wants another boy lol he’s my sons baseball coach, so I think he wants a boy to keep the baseball alive lol
  • Don’t apologise @MadDoda  well I don’t track bbt as I think it’s a bit too much. I do track my ovulation sometimes with sticks, sometimes just trusting my body. If the discharge is transparent and slippery- it’s time for sex lol. But we do it quiet often anyways, so I’m sure I don’t miss the ov period. I know a month I actually didn’t ov, but overall from my doctors perspective - I am extremely fertile for my age lol. So yeah, I think I’ve just been unlucky.
  • @Latte96 i think i'm going to ditch the apps next month if this cycle hasn't worked....i stress myself out with tracking BBT and other than pinpointing ovulation i don't really understand what the point is....I've recorded temperature solidly for a year!
the doctor says the same thing to me - lots of eggs, clear tubes, OH SA was great, hormones are all in order, good weights and ages....why oh why are we still waiting :(

@MadDoda im glad you clarified that as i was worried that me and the OH were not compatible...

  • @x-Alice-x exactly! We could be doing all by the book, but it doesn’t mean it helps. We just stress out and that could be the MAIN reason lol. So yeah, if you know roughly when you ovulate, just make sure you do what’s needed and then forget till it’s af time. That should be perfect... but we just keep tracking and noting symptoms... it’s not easy to none of us
So a break from apps and stuff might be good for your mental health and magic might happen... I kinda did this for this month... but the closer I get to my af the more symptoms I notice and it’s hard not to pay attention to your body. But I’m testing when my af is due and that’s all.
