Clearblue Ovulation tests - flashing smiley face

  Hey, wondering if you had any luck using these? I'm using them for a second month in a row and all I am getting is a lot of flashing smileys

  I used these tests until I became pregnant. One month I got 8 flashing smileys before I got a static one. If you use the original holder the next time you buy a packet it is supposed to get more in tune with your body and have less flashy faces. I found by third month of using them I could tell by my body I was going to get a flashy face before I peed on the stick. So they are great for getting I tune with your natural cycle. Good luck and dont give up, the static will come xxx

  Hey, I use the clearblue 4 or more fertile days ones and I think they are working for me. I had a few 21 day blood tests as we have been trying for over a year and 1 showed I didnt ovulate that month and 1 showed it did but just barely and that month I used these digitals and I had 7 flashy faces and then on day 8 I had the smiley constant one. Used again this month and I had a constant peak fertility face again so I am hoping this is the month for us if not I shall be asking the doctors what the next steps are for us xx

  Thanks both..finally got my peak so fingers crossed now. I think if I need to test next month that I'll wait until at least a week after my period because the constant flashing smileys had me stressed lol xx

  @Impatientlywaiting I used to wait until about day 13 as I always ovulated day 17/18. From. Day 10 I would have used the Internet cheapies just to keep a wee eye incase I missed it. If you are sure on when you ovulate wait the week. But if your cycle doesn't have a consist routine don't as you might miss it. Good luck xxx

  @lauren1409 what is your luteal phase like in length? I ask as my day 21 bloods were on low side and my luteal phase was always like 8 days. So I realised I was ovulating but must have low progesterone. This was problematic in terms of getting pregnant so I paid to go private and asked for progesterone which lengthened my luteal phase and that month I got pregnant. This may not be your issue but just thought I would check in case as it can be easy fixed. Good luck xxx

  @cheesecoleslaw86 hey i think it must be between 11-13 days. Im just going by when it shows me peak fertility and it depends how soon after i actually ovulate. He said a level over 30 shows ovulation and i was 31. I have been referred to a specialist at the hospital so just waiting on an appointment coming through xx

  @lauren1409 mine was 13 and they said I ovulated  and it was just slightly low (even fertility consultant didn't think 13 was an issue) so yours is looking pretty good. I did not believe them and asked that I be prescribed progesterone, they'd prob say it was coincidence I got pregnant first month on progesterone but I know it wasn't.
  
  Great that you are going forward and getting checked out. Best thing to do, hopefully it'll give you peace of mind. Ttc is such a hard old journey and not many talk about it. Hopefully it's an easy fix like my issue and you'll be seeing that bfp anytime soon 😘 xx

  Good luck @Lauren1409 .Hopefully your appt will give u more specialist information. Its a stressful time so try to relax. 1 month I was quite stressed in general and ovulated day 10 rather than norm 14 so it impacts our cycles a lot. Need to learn to take my own advice too xx

  Thanks ladies. When i had my 2nd blood tests it was a different doc who phoned and told me to wait till the end of the Year before getting referred so i waited to see outcome of this month and thought no im not waiting! Its been over a year so im glad i phoned the other day and they made  the referral. Quite excited now to think that I can take the next step!
