  • Wow I was working all weekend nightshift and I have missed so much chat!
Sorry to all who’s Af has arrived and to anyone testing soon good luck.
So after a week of ewcm I finally got my peak opk today so ov tomorrow cd18!!
It’s useless tho as DH not home until Fri and it leaves next month at a complete loss too and not much hope in Dec but I had already figured this out.
Trying to think positive and just enjoy BDing without the pressure of TTC the next few cycles and am going to just keep tracking so that I can understand my body.
@MadDoda I am going to try and temp again should I start now or wait until AF?

Morning ladies. Great we all got to part-3 already. With this speed of chatting i guess it will reach the maximum part of this forum history.

    How is everyone going along?
CD13 today and started Bding from CD6. Right now having 4th round of clomid and waiting for an appointment with specialist to know more about my endometriosis and further fertility option. Not charting or using opk. But bit confident that i will ovulate near CD16 or CD17 due to having CD33/32 days. Is anyone else on same CD13?

Hiya I’ve just finished my first round of Clomid due to having pcos. I normally have 33-36 day cycles. But Clomid has made me ovulate on cd14. Did you ever have this?

@Wishingforbaby3 so what is ur current situation at the end?
I am still peak on OPK deleted the one I scanned in wrong 🙄 I didn’t bother scanning in the other low ones as they were barely visible on days 13-15 x
  • @MissM2203 u should start immediately,  it's always more data to look at. So sorry I hoped u will get ov sooner and chance next cycle.  It's good u are having relax approach I'm sure u will get ur bfp soon.
  • Good morning! Thank you @MadDoda. I'm feeling better. DH put post-it notes all around the house that I found this morning with love notes on them. He's too much sometimes but it made my morning.
Hello @jlh87 I'm looking at your charts and opks. The toughest part about this is that bbt is most helpful when you have multiple cycles to compare your charts to. We typically have monthly pattern so that makes it easier to see what's what. You could be like me and ovulate very quickly after your peak LH test. That would put your Ovulation at CD 14. But I'd agree with maddoda that CD 16 looks promising. Regardless you DEFINITELY ovulated and if you BD within those couple days you have a good shot for this month. Fingers crossed for you!!
  • @MadDoda just did another one femometer now says High instead of peak and that it predicts I OV today x
  • Good lord! Busy morning means I am completely out of the loop!

    @MadDoda made it!

I had absent cycle due to pcos but after i started metformin 2x a day my cycle is near CD35 but with clomid it just CD32 and i am ovulating on spot CD16. Don't worry it's like women to women. Maybe you have a little smaller cycle this time. Nothing to worry.

how long did you not have a cycle for? Mine go anything from 33-36 days and then one month I’ll go like 56 days without.  That only happens like once a year though. I have been on Metformin for over a year too, they helped regulate my cycles.

  • @MadDoda this is my opks. They are getting lighter now. Wondering if surge was cd16 (0.51). Like we said it's more about pattern rather than negative positive. I know most would say these are all negative but each person is different. Il keep testing anyways.

  • @MissM2203 I agree with @MadDoda start bbt early as possible. It's an amazing tool to know your body and even if bfp can't happen soon bbt will help you work things out more easily once you do ttc as you will have more data. I swear if I knew how helpful it is I would have started way before I was ttc
  • @KiaraJ CD13 over here! I think we matched last month too didn’t we? Fingers crossed for both of us 🤞

  • @MadDoda you were totally right about my temperature increase today. Although I'm still getting AF type cramps 😔
  • @MadDoda @Herestohoping
Thank you ladies I will start tomorrow morning.
I have had the same pattern this time on OPKs as last cycle and I seem to have a week of ewcm but I know those aren’t full proof that I have ovulated however my boobs are really tender and seem to be like that around ov time but I really want to be able to BBT to make sure....
I think am gonna need help to understand it all tho....
  • I will help as much as I can @MissM2203
@maddoda is fab at it and many others in this group they are lovely

I have similar experience hun. Don't worry lets see your cycle length this round(your 1st round of clomid).

    Hi @h@Herestohoping,

Hipe you are doing well. Sorry to jump on your message, have a bit of a question! My opk on premom are  very similar to yours in the way of the lines getting darker and getting high readings but no peak. I have see  people get peak readings of 2 and I think my highest has been around 1.2. So would you think we ovulated even though we didn't get a peak?

    TIA xx

    P.s
I also find taking a pic of the opk on premom so tricky! Xx

  • @Jammy1892 hi dear, I know that where your "peak" is not boldly obvious like others some ladies would say this was still negative result. However when chatting with @maddoda and having done these opks for quite some time we were saying it still may indicate ov because it show s a gradual increase of lh then a decrease but it is key that you can then confirm this with bbt chart if you use that. Using a couple of methods would help you and I where we have this type of pattern I think. I feel it still means we could ovulate yes. Do you chart bbt? If can be frustrating can't it.. I've been round the bend. I'm hoping that my chart confirms ov soon.  Xxx
  • @KiaraJ on your first Clomid cycle did you experience tenderness round your ovary area and lower back when your fertile window opened?  Ever since last Tuesday my ovary area especially feels tender.  Today & yesterday have been the worse and I ovulated yesterday.  Also have a huge headache today.  Have you ever had any of this?

@Herestohoping just keep doing opk and see what bbt does. It's still possible that lh will go back up, but front experience it's probably ur peak, which premom doesn't recognise. Only bbt can help u will this
@MissM2203 I'm happy to help any time

@Jammy1892 peak opk is highest lh ur body produce. Ovulation requires a certain level of lh to happen, which means ur may be much less than the max u produce. Not getting a peak but high readings can be a personal thing. The only way to know is to do bbt to confirm that ovulation occured after only a high reading opk. However if u don't do bbt or even if u do, keep doing opk to be sure as lh isn't a gradual rise it may come back up after series of low readings. Again it's very personal thing and if u track few months u will see it
