Coming off the pill!

Hi all,
My partner and I are currently planning baby number 1. I have been on the progesterone only pill for many years now and will be stopping this weekend. Just after shared experiences of how long g it took for a period or to conceive? Should I wait for a period before we try or just stop the pill and see what happens?

    It took me 4 weeks to start my period after coming off and I got my BFP on my third cycle trying. You don’t have to wait for a period, but your cycles will be off for a while, so I suggest using OPKs and tracking BBT to know when you’re ovulating
