Positive yesterday, negative today? Could it be a chemical?

Yesterday I got a positive test; a line came right away with color! And today I took a new test. It’s negative... Could the positive test be faulty, or is a chemical more likely? :/ I’m so confused and sad.

  • No, you would bleed already if that would be the case.

That’s so weird! I have period cramps and a sore lower stomach, but no blood. It must have been faulty then! 🤨
  • I would say so, that's why I never trust faint lines, only two tests with increase of line strength. Fx there is still chance
  • Have you tested again today with FMU? Did you test the 2nd time with FMU? it could be the urine was more diluted. Fingers crossed and good luck!
  • Nothing!

Yeah it’s still negative! I did also try a clearblue; nothing! But my period isn’t due until the 18th, I just tested early because of period pains, so I was shocked to see a line. But it must have been a bad test.

I’m waiting until Friday to test again.
