    Morning all

I've had my scratch done and good God it was ouchy!! I actually yelped when she scratched! I have period pains now but manageable. Glad it's all done and hoping it helps with implantation ☺️

@Remedios how are you? Any further on your tests? Any results from hubby's SA?

Gosh you always make me want to do a mad dash yo your place and enjoy all the yummy things you make. How did the quince jelly go?

Are you about 4dpo? Just hazarding a guess 😉

This weather is awful, I think it's going to be a pj weekend for me. Maybe sort through some old clothes. What will you do this weekend? Xx

@Katie2202xx how are you? How are you feeling about your scan on Tuesday? Xx

  • @sas101 Awww I'm sorry it was painful for you! but anything that can help is worth the pain isnt it 😁 fingers crossed for you! whens your next transfer?
I'm good thanks just plodding on Haha in quite nervous for my scan my partner is driving me incase it's still low and not moved as I'll be upset but I'm also super excited to baby again 😍 x
  • @Katie2202xx id take more pain if I knew it would help ☺️😉 I start meds on Sunday and if all goes well transfer should be around 3rd November.

Aww I don't blame.you taking your oh. Fingers crossed it's all moved accordingly 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 eeek how exciting you get to see baby ❤️❤️❤️
  • @sas1101 I am sorry, I was going to wish you good luck for today, but the time passed by end... Oh poor you! I am so sorry that you had a lot of pain. :( Not kindness is it? PJ weekend sounds perfect to me. I hope you can hide a bit today with all the pain and just relax and have a good quality of "me time".

Could you please tell to me again, how the scratch will help with implantation? I love reading your explanations. It is fascinating what happens in our bodies.

No news on tests yet... I had a nightmare that my husband's SA came back and it was so bad that we were told that we can't have children... it is playing on my mind. Sleepless nights... No referral still for HSG either. I try to calm myself with physical and mental exercise. I am OK during the day, but clearly on my mind as I have bad dreams.

The quince jellies were a hit! Therefore I tried "membrillo" as well (I used a Spanish recipe- @VeronicaMA would be proud of me ;) ) which is basically the same thing, but you don't put the stuff in the jar, but in a dish and slice it and eat it with cheese (Manchego - Spanish cheese mainly).

You are amazing!!! 3dpo- I think, so you are very close. ;)

One more month, it will be here so soon! So exciting!!! and 2 embryos. Yeah!!!

You said that you wanted to keep the last transfer as a secret. How about this one? Are you going to tell your mum and other family members? Your colleagues must know...

How are the cats doing in this wet weather? Our dogs look so bored, but do not want to go out in the rain which I understand.

    Look after yourself! xx

@Remedios I'm so sorry to hear about hubby's SA results 😔 I've been there and know how disheartening it can be. Have they said what his results are? I know it feels like a kick in the teeth but there are so many things that can effect the outcome of a SA: stress, illness, nerves on the day, vitamin deficiency and these things can be fixed easily. Will they repeat again in 3 months? Remember swimmers replenish every 3 months. However, if it turns out that you have been dealt this blow it doesn' mean the end. There are so many procedures and techniques they can use. Yes it may be ICSI IVF but if it get you both your baby then it's not a bad thing. I used to struggle with the fact that I'd never conceive naturally but a wise friend said that I won't give a damn when I'm holding our baby...and she was so right!

For perspective my oh had less that half a million sperm/ml and hardly any were motile or the right shape! The next sample his result were amazing with 110 million/ml and they were swimming around like crazy and the right shape. My hubby also has a small varicocoele but was able to produced that great sample. Unfortunately on the day if IVF his sample wasn't very good so they did ICSI and we got a 100% fertilisation rate. Apparently that is very rare 🙂 I know we haven't got my baby yet but we know we are not giving up!

We also have a close friend who doesn't produce any sperm at all and needed to have a specialist extract it via an operation. He has two beautiful children via IVF ☺️

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you will get there and if it has to be with a little help then so be it! Stay strong lovely I am here for you if you need chat. You got this 💪🏻 xxx
  • @Remedios I'm feeling good today. I'm sleeping very well at the moment and my hubby commented on how healthy I looked yesterday so I much be doing something right ☺️

I absolutely felt fine all day yesterday after scratch it was just the initial scratching that was painfully 🙈 I'm spotting a little but she said this will probably happen until I get AF. Injections tomorrow and even after doing this twice before and knowing how crap side effects can make me feel I'm looking forward to it. Weird eh? 🤣

I'm keeping it a secret from everyone this time 🙈 spoke to my manager and said I had some family things coming up that I'll annual leave for and she was fine 👍🏻

I'm off out to do some food shopping, going I don't have to queue in the rain!  Your poor pooches, boredom is hard! My cats are doing ok. The big boy doesn't care one bit about being out in the rain and often comes in a soggy moggy 😆 my little princess is far too fussy to go out in the rain so has been my shadow whenever I'm home. I've had to get her toy box out to keep her entertained 😂

The quince with cheese sounds amazing right now!!! Ahaha now I'm going to buy a  cheese board from the supermarket 🙈🙈

  • Good morning @sas1101, Oops, probably. I wasn't clear, sorry! This is NOT my husband's test result. As we have not had them back yet. I had a bad dream where we have been told that it is not going to happen for us.
I am very hopeful that in reality it is NOT the news we will receive! I keep everything crossed.
Thank you so much for your very kind and wise words! You are right, sperms' quality can be improved and regardless of the result, we still should work on that and/or maintain it. I was wondering if he needs to repeat the SA. As far as I know it takes the sperms 64 days to regenerate. If we have another SA (as you mentioned in 3 months' time) that would come out as a very different result. We will see what they say. We should have know more next week.
Again I try to be patient and knowing that our next consultation with the specialist is on the 27th of October, makes me more relaxed.

Interesting what you said about not natural conception... Yes, I do feel that I want/ed to become a mother without help, but you and your friend are so right. It will not matter once you can hold your little bundle of joy... (It is just not how I imagined this whole journey, but many things in life do not pan out the way we imagined it...)

Your husbands is so lovely that he notices the changes and he comments on them (like the curvy bum and now the healthy look). ;) I am so glad that you feel positive and it is noticeable to the outside world as well! You are such an inspiration and I am so glad that thankful that we started to chat a few months ago. I really appreciate your "forum friendship"! ;)

Looking forward to injections might sound a bit weird :D , but we know the reason you have decided to go through this process again. You are getting closer and closer!

"Soggy moggy" :D That is brilliant!!! We have two melanCollies due to the bad weather, but I am hoping to take them out for a run this morning rain or no rain.

Oh dear! I am sorry that I made you buy a cheeseboard! :) My husband and I strained the grapes yesterday. The second fermentation has started. Wine for Christmas! :) It is funny as we do not drink, but wanted to try it for the experience. Cheese, homemade quince jelly and wine. I made pizza from scratch... I need to bottle my Apple Cider Vinegar today. When are you coming to Kent? ;)

Probably it is best to keep it as a secret. It is a family thing, so you told the truth. ;)

How did the first injections go?
Enjoy the rest of the weekend and keep that glow and smile! ;) xx
  • @Katie2202xx How are you? How did the scan go?
I am still waiting for hubby's result and no referral for HSG yet. Less than 3 month and you will meet your baby! How exciting! xx
  • Hey ladies!! How are you all?

@sas1101 Hey doll! How are you feeling?

I am so sorry that you got your period again. Please let us know how did the injections go :) I really hope that it will work this time :)

@Remedios How are you? Were you excited to know at what point of the ovulation were you through a scan? How did it go?

I was now reading about the visits to your auntie and your neighbours. That was so lovely of them!

How did the winemaking experience go? Did you enjoy it?

And wow! Membrillo! I would not know how to make it myself! Congrats for trying! Was it nice? :)

@Katie2202xx Hey, lovely! Just 2 days until your scan! How are you feeling about it? And wow! 26 weeks already!! Time definitely flies! I can’t thank you enough for sharing your progress with us :)

I love the fact that this forum feels like a real family, a real sisterhood :) Thanks for being a fantastic part of it!

I am so sorry that I am so OFF lately, but the work load increased and university started. Also, I have been feeling a bit weird lately, so I have been on and off the computer. Also, we went to the isle of Wight with bae’s family to celebrate my MIL’s bday. My SIL brought her kitty (3 months) and they all laughed because apparently, I was treating it like a human baby.

I got a very light period in September (spotting 3 days, mild bleeding for 2 days and spotting for 1 day) and started to feel nauseous and getting rashes in my skin shortly after it finished, but when I tested, all tests (4) were negative.

I was supposed to get my period today, but my BBT increased instead of decreased, and my cervix is still in a medium position, not to mention exhaustion, mild fever sometimes and back pain. Don’t wanna be too happy yet but… aren’t those early pregnancy symptoms?

My birthday was on the 30th and I got cards, flowers from bae, as well as new headphones and new phone (mine did not work well), and a self-made gift. Oh, and a lovely testimonial from my client on my website!

We might adopt a 3rd cat (it comes to our yard as its starving, and I really wanna cuddle him and tell him it’ll be fine and he is now safe).

  • @VeronicaMA I'm actually so excited to see baby again.. I'm preparing myself for bad news but keeping hopefull for good! I'm 27+2 now 😁😁
Awww happy late birthday! hopefully you get a late birthday present too 😁😁 x
  • @Remedios I've got my scan on tuesday I'm quite scared but also excited!! and how crazy is it how fast it's going!! How long does it usually take to get results? x

    Hey @Katie2202xx !!

aww 😍 can imagine that you can’t wait! Will your hubby be able to go in with you for the scan? And don’t worry! I’m sure that it will be fine!!!

    Thanks a lot, hun :) let’s see :)

So far, this might become our third baby 👶

  • @VeronicaMA no hun hes still not aloud to any of the scans :( hoping they will let me have a photo as my daughter is really excited but I told her they might not let me have one..
and awwww such a cutie!! this is my girl

@Katie2202xx 😍 is so cute that your daughter is as excited as you two! Maybe she just wants to tell everyone about her new baby sibling!
Is she back in school yet?

Your kitty is so adorable, cuddly and fluffy 🥰

Started spotting yesterday night and it went quickly from brown to pink, but my BBT dropped 0.2 degrees (to 36). Don’t know what to expect except for my period...
  • @VeronicaMA she is super excited! and yeah shes back at school now been there 3 weeks :) I'm terrified of the virus but they is only so much protecting you can do!

Shes very cuddly but she doesn't like to sit on your knee Haha whereas my boy used to love been on you lap very cuddly I do miss him :(

and aww no hopefully temp stays up and AF stays away 🤞🤞 x
  • @Katie2202xx That's so true! They do need to go back to school at some stage anyway! And that might even make them more aware (not that they aren't, but it's another thing to learn from).

Are you still working? How are you coping with it so far?

Aww kitties have very different personalities that differ them from each other, but I'm sure that the missy loves you too although she won't sit on your lap!

Thanks a lot, hun!! Apparently, if you don't take the BBT at the same time every day it marks it as "not trustworthy", so I repeated it about 30 min later, the app marked it as correct, and it went from 36 to 36.3. Still spotting though (brown again) and sooo sleepy.

  • @VeronicaMA I've tried to explain the virus to her the best I can and she has a good understanding of it stay apart washing hands no cuddling kissing etc so hopefully we will be fine but who knows!

And yeah shes a lazy cat shes not the cuddly type but shes lovely and so loveable!

Aww yeah hun you have to take it at the same time every morning I used to set my alarm take it then go back to sleep Haha it's also not accurate if you dont take it the second you wake up no moving no toilet trips nothing lol and hmmm the brown indicates old blood I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! x
  • Well it wasnt good news unfortunately :( placenta hasn't moved and is still over my scar.. I've to have MRI probably next week waiting on date and if its accreta baby will be delivered between 36-37 weeks :( I'm so scared of bleeding to death :( and baby was also been a bugger and kept their hand up at their face😍🙈

Hey love! How are you feeling?

So sorry to hear that! I'm sure that docs won't let that happen, don't worry! Even if they move forward the delivery, they have awesome tools nowadays. We will keep our fingers crossed for you anyway!
    Aww cheeky little thing!!
