Taking pregnancy tests before AF

So i was planning on only doing a test if AF doesnt arrive, but ive heard so many people talk about chemical pregnancies. Is it worth doing a test before AF to document incase this happens? If so when would you take a test?

    12dpo is fine x tbh if you’re able to wait until af is due or late then I would wait otherwise you’ll just give yourself added stress and anxiety that you can do without. So if you’re a good one and can be patient then I would recommend being patient but if you’re an addict like most us women then 12dpo is a good time - good luck x
