Late period negative pregnancy tests

Hi I’m new here so not used to all the abbreviations yet.
i had my copper coil removed on 16th June (this was the non hormonal coil) as we wanted to try for a baby. I use a tracker and obviously this is only the first month we tried. 
I was due on my period this Tuesday 7th July. My periods are always regular every 28 days. On Tuesday I just had some pale pink discharge when I wiped. On Wednesday I had a little brown coloured bleeding but again only when I wiped. This has now stopped. I have taken pregnancy tests (most recent one this morning) and they are lol negative. Am I missing something?
i know certain birth control can impact periods etc although with the copper coil this would not be an issue as hormone free.
how do I now track next months ovulation if my period doesn’t come?
any help / suggestions much appreciated

    It sounds more like implantation than a period so I would just hold out as a positive won’t show so soon after implantation. Maybe wait it out until next week? Good luck x

    Thank you. I will test again next week if my period doesn’t show up. Would it be unusual to get implantation bleeding on the day my period is due?thanks x

    People normally get implantation 6-12dpo so I suppose it depends where you are in your cycle. Also everybody is different so I don’t think it’s black and white x

    Hey Sarah. I am in exactly the same boat as you, usually very regular period, took out my copper t 2 weeks ago and now my period is late by 4 days. All tests are negative.  

    So I was wondering what the outcome was for you? Are you pregnant?

    Hi, I got my period on Saturday (4 days late) so no not pregnant. Not sure if my coil removal could have impacted it being late. Working out my ovulation dates was pretty straight forward with regular periods, although this has now thrown me. Let me know how you get on x
