Implantation bleeding or regular AF?

My AF was due round about the 6th August and on the 7th August I got a very light, very unusual, period. I’m on the fourth say now and today I can consider it spotting, the previous days it was a light flow, definitely more than spotting. Could it be implantation bleeding? I have a test and read somewhere that I should wait a week from the first day of bleeding to use. Any advice? This is my second, I have my first August of last year with no implantation bleeding.

    if you AF was due on the 6/7th and seemed different I would definitely do a test. probably with an FRER. If it comes back negative then you can definitely wait a couple days and try again.

    I took the test yesterday on the 13th and it came negative. I must have just had a strange period for the first time in my life
