  • Thank u @Ada34 I’ve seen the clear blue digital one that we may try. He is very keen on maximising our chances and giving us our best shot. We not stressing over it. We have a small business we set up together which at present is our baby. At least he is more than happy to BD every other day. He says it’s gonna be hard for us both lol
i was explaining all the codes from chat last night he thought it was interesting and funny it’s all coded lol but at least he is interested in it all x
  • @GwentonEmmy Sorry for your loss, in May xx
TTC can a be minefield but it will be all worth it in the end. You will soon get to know your cycle. The extra support on here is a massive help too.
    Goodluck this month 🤞🤞

  • @GwentonEmmy my DH finds it funny too 🤣 I wrote BD into our family diary on certain nights and it cracked me up watching him read to out like what the heck is BD!!
  • @RiaMushk it is funny but at least they all ok with it all. My partner is happy to try the pregnacare him/her conception. We are older now. Lol x
  • So I got my static smiley face on my clear blue ovulation test today and if I didn't know it nearly was impossible I'd swear I have pregnancy symptoms haha, lower abdomen pain, nausea headaches and the scents of smell of a blood hound does anyone else get these symptoms when ovulating? i swear ttc is making me crazy 😫 🤪
  • Thanks @Ada34 you're right - I try to be positive. I guess I'm more of a "think the worst and be pleasantly surprised" type of person.

It's crazy how as soon as we hit 35 there is so much anxiety about being older.

Any plans for the long weekend UK ladies? I'm in quarantine from being abroad so just chilling over here hehe

Currently starting to feel rough kind of hungover feeling in the mornings and boobs have started to like they have been run over by a truck. This is exactly the same as last month so either it's just my new PMS or a positive sign 🤞

Yeh my OH doesn't really know all the lingo I'm sure he would find it funny too xx
  • @Smilla86 I get the same symptoms now when I'm ovulating. Headaches, stabbing pains, nausea, tiredness, loss of appetite, heightened sense of smell....I often think how cruel our bodies are, giving us the same symptoms throughout different times in our cycle. I never used to have any of these things so could clearly differentiate between normal, ovulation and af symptoms compared to pregnancy ones, but since this has started a couple of months ago it's much harder. It gets your hopes up unnecessarily 🙄

Hoping we get lots of bfps this month.

Dh and I are having a week away together in the country at the moment, and we're going out today to look for some "natural viagra" supplements, as he's been researching himself and is really trying this month, which is great.

Does anyone know of anything that has a quick/immediate effect, rather than needing to take supplements for a few weeks to see the benefit? Neither of us really want him to try actual viagra, we'd prefer something natural. X
  • @Smilla86 @HippieMama4
I had all those symptoms during obulation and for about a week after. First time Ive noticed them before but I suppose maybe Im just getting more aware if my cycle. So unfair as they can convince you that maybe you might just get that big bfp.

@Yasmin85 yes coming into my mid 30s definitely has made me feel a bit of pressure but staying positive that my next pregnancy will go smoothly for me.

  • @Smilla86 I used to get that with ovulation! I think it’s normal, with all the hormones ranking up to release the egg etc
I used to always get extreme nausea just before AF, which was awful because it would convince me I was pregnant. Funny enough, I got all the exact same symptoms of my AF, when I got my bfp! So it really is sometimes disguised!
Since having a baby I barely get many symptoms though, think the body just changes throughout the years

@HippieMama4 hmmm let me think... all I can think about is food lol like oysters... afrodisiacs... I can’t spell it!!!
Maybe google can tell you more about those foods that are said to be a bit more instant and natural.
I’ve been getting dh to release himself the week I was on AF, so that he is geared up for this week as worried we were just doing it all in one week lol don’t know if that would help?
Matcha tea or matcha powder in brown rice milk like a latte is delicious and really natural sort of caffeine which can help you with energy levels if it’s more the energy he is looking for xxx

  • Hi Ladies, hope everyone is well catching up as we are away for a few days. OH is working today so having a look at all the posts. DPO9 here today but just don’t feel like it is our month - feel no different than any month to be honest and a bit crampy on and off but normally get that before af. due af in approx a week.
Trying to just be ok about it and not stress on the bfn I won’t test until af due as the trigger shot I took CD12 can stay in system 17 days - so can get a false positive. Did have a temp drop yest and stayed same today. Hope you are all well x
  • Sorry ladies i took some time away to try and clear my head so i feel like i have a lot of catching up to do. Hope you are all well💞
  • @RiaMushk we couldn't find anything. Oysters, yuk lol! 🤢🤣 As much as dh loves food, I don't think I could get him to go anywhere near oysters haha! Can't blame him either, they look and sound gross lol.

@Clarissa78 hi. I hope you're having a nice time away. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. A dip around that time seems to be quite common on people's charts, they say it can be implantation, so here's hoping!

@Bethanyjean it's nice to see you back. I hope you're ok and you're feeling positive about this month. We're here when you need us x
  • Hello all cd4 for me and as per our treatment plan am on day 3 of letrozole. I am really envious of all of you who can just have fun trying with bd cause this fertility treatment stuff can be hard going. Still I live in hope that this is our month 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Baby dust to us all this month and hopefully lots of BFP xx
  • @HippieMama4 thank you... we go home today had a lovely day away... be great if it was implantation dip back up a bit today not significantly but a rise all the same... I feel so bloated but I do before af too usually.. I suffer with a lot PMS physical
symptoms some months so no point trying to do any symptom spotting and also a lot people say they feel no different until week 6 or so.
How u today hope ur well x
  • Hey ladies! How are you all? Af is due in 6 days for me... Im something dpo...i have no clue! Between 6-8 dpo maybe? All i know is that im 6 days away from af... I feel........nothing haha... Last month before i got my bfp and then chemical, i had a few symptoms early on... But this month i seriously dont feel anything! If im late, im going to wait a week to test, although i really feel ill be out
  • @Kazam2817 I think there are quite a few people on here in the middle of different treatments at the moment. Not many people seem to be lucky enough to be chilled about ttc each month. Unfortunately I think there are a lot of us having issues with fertility, with some waiting for doctors appointments too.

@Clarissa78 that's great that you had a good day away. Do you feel a bit more recharged? It's so annoying when our bodies give us the same symptoms for af as pregnancy isn't it. It makes everything so much more confusing.

I'm ok today thank you. Had a lovely day out with dh and the opk I did after lunch was very high. It's jumped from a faint line to a very strong one, so I really hope I ovulate tonight or tomorrow as I want to make sure we bd every day including the day after I ovulate, just to be sure. Dh said yesterday that he isn't feeling any pressure this month, and he's instigated bding twice this week so far. He knows we need to do it tonight and tomorrow at least as well, so hopefully I will ovulate this weekend then we can do Tuesday and Thursday as planned. If I don't ovulate until Sunday/Monday I'll try and squeeze one in on Monday as well, then give him a rest from Tuesday haha.

Hi @EmPa. Our bodies are so frustrating aren't they. People have so many different experiences in the 2ww and when pregnant some people have no symptoms but others have loads from early on. And even ourselves, our bodies do different things so it can be different each time for us.

Fingers crossed it's a good and positive month for us all! X
  • @EmPa same here really no idea how many dpo I am and not going to test early either - if I hold out that is!

I'm CD27 and AF can come anytime 29-32 so just a waiting game. Most of the time I spot 2-4 days before so just expecting it every time I go to the bathroom. Why is it we can't distract ourselves?!? Sort of feeling sort boobs but your so right @HippieMama4 about frustrating bodies 🙄

Here's hoping September is the month xx

  • @HippieMama4 I do feel the break was good but a bit wrecked as didn’t sleep well last few weeks..
go to have a nap for a while I think haha

so annoying and confusing... I have never been pregnant so don’t know will I feel anything before a positive test.

great about strong OPK and delighted oh is well on board - it makes it easier when they are and less stressed. You have a good plan of when you want to BD, fingers crossed for ye.

@Kazam2817 I totally get where u are coming from. I will be starting my full Plan for my meds next month - injections and follicle tracking - unless we are super
lucky this month - but I don’t think we will be. Keep the chin up, it is so hard... keep trying and please god we will all get our bfp’s using treatments or naturally xx

  • @HippieMama4 @Clarissa78 thanks for the shout out although it’s awful that some people struggle to get pregnant it’s nice knowing we are not alone.

@Clarissa78 have you been given a reason for fertility issues? I have I explained infertility and after several rounds of IUI with just letrozole and hcg trigger shots we are doing letrozole, FSH shots and HCG trigger this time so here’s hoping 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I hope all you other ladies are doing good this evening xxx
  • @Kazam2817 I am doing Napro not IVF hopefully won’t have too. Have a few issues like endometriosis, fibroids,
low progesterone. I am 42 soon and only started trying late last year but then was made redundant so started trying again April this year without assistance - no luck so decided to go back to doc... next month be our first proper month back so we be doing injection to create follicle, tablets to soften it, trigger shot to release egg. 2 follicle tracking scans and cyclogest at end of cycle - I had only trigger shot this month as I was mid cycle when I had my app. I would love to be pregnant this month but I don’t feel we are I am on cd 27 and I will be due af around 5 days time I think trigger shot lengthen my cycle.. is it your first round of IVF? It is so so hard at times isnt it xx
