Struggling with TTC.

Hi everyone,
I've never written on one of these forums before, but could really do with some support.
My husband and I have been ttc for 16 months and its so hard to keep positive. I've even stopped monitoring temps and am trying not to focus on a cycle app because the stress and disappointment is too much to handle. My bloods have been fine apart from showing stress.... I've just left a highly stressful job.
Its horrible as this month I really didn't get my hopes up, I kept distracting myself. However I've been feeling nauseated and bloated, again tried not to think to much about it and now I'm spotting which is a sign that I'm about to start my period (due in 3 days). I thought I was doing so well but I'm once again heart broken.
Are any of you feeling this way too? How are people coping?
Thank you all x

Thank you both for replying. Bethanyjean I hope you don't have to wait too long hun. X
FlossyLZ, I'm so glad your results are coming back great. Do you mind me asking how old are you?
We're both 33 yrs old and in the process of talking to a private fertility clinic as the NHS are taking so long. I had my swabs and 21day bloods done with the nhs, I recieved the results and then I heard nothing. The nhs are an amazing service but I guess I'm impatient when it comes to this.
It does feel good to have some control with organising tests etc tho and then on the other hand its terrifying because what happens if something is wrong!? I never thought in a million years that I'd be going through all of this.
Hope that this month is both your months x
We are both 35. I think I am more inpatient because of our age. I keep thinking in the time we have been ttc we could have been pregnant and had a baby in our arms by now. Private isn't an option for us so we have to use NHS. Covid has really slowed down everything, but hopefully over the next few months things will start moving forward more.
