Help with fertility with the doctors

Hi I was wondering if anyone has had help with trying to conceive via the doctors? Me and my partner have been trying since December but the doctors won't help until we have been trying for a year. I've had blood tests and they came back normal and I've got a scan next week. I've also got PCO. I was just wondering what the doctors do to help?
