Ovulating during Cd40s??? Opinions??? Is tracking CM a reliable way???

I came off the pill during my period / pill break which was January 27th-31st. I always had a 28 day cycle on the pill. I was on the pill for 7 years. I didn't get my period since i stopped the pill so i thought i could be pregnant and was testing like crazy because i just needed to know how to move forward. Today is my CD43. I noticed this week that my CM is very stretchy and clear egg white!!! I'm attaching a photo here (sorry TMI). Is cervical CM a reliable way to know when you are ovulating? Please let me know what you guys think or any advise in general. Still can't believe i skipped my period!!! Thanks in advance! xxx
