Hey hey congrats first of all! and coming to the questions, yessss, i can't stress this enough that pregnancy supplements are indeed important. i have first hand experience. i thought the diet i'm taking is enough for my pregnancy but when i started reading about it and spoke to my doctor she told me how our normal diet doesn't have enough nutrition to cover for a pregnancy. that's why even iron calcium folate are given separately. for me thankfully my doctor gave me an even better supplement trimacare that included iron folate calcium n had other nutrients as well in a single pill. and they different for each trimester so it helped with my morning sickness in the first trimester, and helped ease my labour pain, leg cramps and constipation later on. it's worth a try if ur doctor approves it. pls do check with her once.

Bearing in mind though every woman is different.. I didn’t take them on my first and had no problem, haven’t taken them this time and no problems.. x
