Four babies??

evening ladies,
had an early scan today and found out i'm 9 wks with triplets. a bit of a shock to say the least. the thing is i have a lo who is still only 3 months, he will be 9 1/2 months if i carry the triplets to full term, obviously less if they're premmie.
does anyone have any words of wisdom on a) how to get over the shock of finding out you're pregnant with multiples and b) how to cope with 4 babies under 1??
thank you in advance, hope all the babies/bumps/mums/dads are well. xxx

  • lol...i was a nanny before having my lo.
it will be hard to start with but once you have established a routine and got to grips with it all you will be fine i'm sure.

  • Congrats, I am expecting twins and have a 9 1/2 month old, I was shocked so you must be double shocked, (or even triple shocked) just make sure you get lots of help and as much rest as you can. Speak to your health visitor to see if there is any help available. I have no family close by, but have friends and a great husband for help. Best of luck.
  • Oh my... Congratulations... When I found out I was expecting twins (2 weeks ago) I was shocked, I can't imagine how you are feeling... Have you seen the size of quadruple buggys??? hee hee hee...

My lo will be 20 months if I go to full term so i'm looking at getting a triple buddy and their big enough!!!

  • crilly - i haven't heard about home start but it sounds similar to something my cousin got with her disabled son after her oh died, i shall have to ask her about it
my oh is fantastic and has always been very supportive of me through everything (even when we were 16 and i was trying to do 2 yrs of art coursework in 24 hrs... lol) and we're very close to our families too so that should help us
sara i've never seen a quadruple buggy, let alone the size of it!! xxx
