Best spoons for weaning
What spoons have you found best for weaning?
When I first started weaning I used the tommee tippee explora weaning spoons, but did not like them because of the wide deep base. My little didn't manage to get much food off the spoon. I liked the material of them, soft and easy to grip.
I then purchased some plastic weaning spoons from morrisons and I found these easy to use as the spoon was shallow and the food slides off easily.

I found the tommee tippee explora weaning spoons best once my little was used to spoon feeding. then these were excellent as they held a good amount of food.
what have your experience been with spoons, have you tried different ones, do you use different spoons for different food?

I also started off on the tommee tippee explora weaning spoons http://m.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/first-weaning-spoons/ I found them really usefull and loved the flexiblity of the spoon. We now use several different brands of spoons and my LO will eat off any of them. Has anyone used a tommee tippee areoplane spoon?! They look great for little ones who may be fussy http://m.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/aeroplane-spoons/

I also have some of the aeroplane spoons, but my LO would rather play with it than eat off it, so haven't used them much!!
Munchkin do a nice pack of long handled, soft tipped and brightly coloured spoons too.
