I love toys from when I was younger. I hate the fact they are classed as retro as I'm getting a little touchy about turning 30 this year. I can't believe how much some of them cost. Things like the Big Yellow Teapot go for nearly £100 on ebay. It's mad. I do think retro toys are great though. The selection these days seems so limited with each toy having the same feature. There are only so many toys that count and say the alphabet that a child needs. Bring back fun toys without batteries too.
I had a rocking horse when I was a child and I loved it! I'm planning on passing it on to my daughter when she's older, I want her to still have a few old-fashioned toys mixed in with all the modern ones that are out now!
