I think the shock in her voice sounds pretty real! The flour on her could easily come from her tots coming up to her or from being stirred up as she walks through it. I don't think she just walked in and discovered it - she must've seen it then got her phone/camera to capture it (to play on their 18th bdays!). I mean, honestly, who would do that to their own home?? Those sofas are never going to be the same - they'll always have that dusty flour smell. eww!
Hang on a minute, you sure this isn't set up? You can clearly see the mothers trousers at the end are covered in flour, why would they be if she had just walked into the room and discovered it?
