Need to have day 2 bloods done, my only symptoms are, subfertility, a miscarraige after a fetal heart was seen, (yes apparently this is increased if you have pcos) bit of facial hair and hair below bellybutton but the hair not that bad if i say so myself. I'm gob smacked. Totally gobsmacked.

Firstly I am so sorry for your loss. It must be absolutely devestating, especially after trying for so long.
I have PCOS, and don't have really severe symptoms either - irregular periods, some extra hair (but I have very dark hair so always assumed that was why) and mild spotty skin. When I was first diagnosed I had the exact same worries as you, that if I ever got pregnant I would miscarry. The PCOS does not mean you cannot have a healthy baby. Have you looked at the verity website? It is for people with PCOS and there are lots of women on the forums who have healthy pregnancies.
There are diets which can help as its all about insulin resistance, and I was on metformin, although I had to stop that when I got pregnant. I havent actually done anything different since being pregnant, but I am sure after your loss and with your diagnosis the doctor will be able to advise you of the best way to proceed next time you get pregnant.
Good luck, please dont worry that PCOS means you won't have your baby, it just makes it a little bit more difficult. Sorry again for your loss X
I'm beginning to come to terms with it, even though it has not been officially diagnosed, as i read about it, I feel I have it. If I do, at least i'm going to find out and can be treated with clomid if needed, and prostaglandin to hold onto the pregnancy.
Can I ask u if you had these treatments??
ps I have spotty back and blemishs on chin too
I didn't need clomid or take prostaglandin. I managed to get pregnant naturally, which is a bit of a miracle as my hubby has low sperm count and reduced motility sperm, and we had just been told by the fertility specialist that we would need to have IVF. I had a little bit of weight to lose, so I think it was a mixture of metformin, PCOS diet and gym three times a week, I was having cycles of over 80 days long and managed to get them down to a normal cycle length the month I conceived (it took about a year to get my cycles normal). I was also taking vitamin B6, and soya isoflavones. When I got pregnant, the doctor said the PCOS shouldn't cause me any problems, so she just stopped my metformin and that was all.
Keep reading up as much as you can, I think researching and finding things you can do to help really helps you take control back of the situation! I hope you are feeling ok today X
If I have pcos i suppose I concieved naturally too but i was the unlucky 45% that miscarry.
I have to wait patiently and see about blood tests and see wat fertility drs think.
Back to work next week, but.... Plan to holiday in few weeks time, to get away from it all and relax.
You definitely deserve a holiday, I think that sounds like a great idea! x
