Advice please

Hello, Not sure if I'm ok to post here has have not been diagnosed with pcos or anything (doc refuses to look at me). Anyway, this month my period has been much lighter than usual and mostly brown with some red but also lasting for much longer. This is accompanied by a pinching sensation mainly low on the left but also on the right. At its worst it feels a bit like ov pain. When I type this into google it comes up with pcos websites and I was just wondering if this sounds similar to anyones experiences of pcos? My sister has been diagnosed with it but not sure if it's genetic? Also, I get spotting 2-3 days before my period, also not sure if this makes a difference. We are onto cycle 21 of ttc.
