New pregnancy 2 weeks after a miscarriage - Is this possible?

Hi ladies,

I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago,passed the pregnancy the same day and had a scan the following day. The scan confirmed that my uterus was empty and tests came back negative.

I know I shouldn't have done, but I took Clomid from day 3 until day 7. I had ovulation pains while on Clomid (day 6&7). I experienced the same pains yesterday so I did a hpt and it came back positive. Same again this morning .... Is it possible that I'm pregnant again? It's only been 2 weeks since the miscarriage. Also,I didn't take any other fertility drugs so my hcg levels should be unaffected,Clomid does not have an effect on them unless it's combined with provera shots. I only took Clomid and vitamins like b6, pregnacare, baby aspirin, royal jelly.

This is mind boggling. Don't know whether to go to my gp or assume that the tests are false positives?
