Lhs and lfs.. clomid?

Hey guys.. I'm 25 a couple of years ago me and an ex tried to have a baby.. I tried for a year an a half but no luck.. I had some blood tests done and it turns out my lhs and lfs levels are the wrong way round and said that it's pcos even though I have no cysts.. me and my partner having been trying for 8 months but nothing so we're hoping to go to the Dr's tomorrow to see if they will prescribe me medication.. had anyone eles had clomid and is that the 1st medication they give you?
