PCOs and 28 day menstrual cycle, can I ever get pregnant?

Hello, 

I am new to this site. 

I was diagnosed with pcos since I was 13. 

I was removed from all my medication since several years ago by my doctor. 

Since then I have had regular 28 day cycles with 4 - 5 day bleeding. I am normal BMI range. However, I get facial hair and discolouring. 

My doctor told me there is no way I'll ever have a child due to my hormone levels when I was 14. 

Is there a possibility I can still get pregnant? And how would I know if I ovulate?
