Prego test

I Took a .88 cent pregnancy test the day my period was due an it turned positive . Well I’ve tested afterwards an got a negative . I’m superconfused I still have not received my cycle so I’m Day 41 without any signs. I woke up early this morning an started gagging an threw up a lil acid is it possible I’ve tricked myself into this? The doctor thinks there is no chance an told me I needed to learn how the home test worked . Keep in mind I’ve been trying to have a baby for almost 2 years an when I seen that pos you could ONLY imagine the way I felt. Then lead to negative test now I’m broken hearted an super confused
