First appointment

We've finally got the first appointment with the specialist next week, after all this time waiting! I know it'll only be a consultation, but at least after that things might get moving.

Can't wait! (But also kinda nervous!) Not really sure what to expect. Any words of wisdom would be great!

hi i have been though this on your first appointment the will ask alot of questions and the might put you on clomid is is a hormon tablet the lets you release more eggs am at the stage were i have gogt to book in for a lap and dye test witch is were they test your tubes to see if there are any blockeges

i remember when i had my first appointment my emotions were very mixed wishing you luck

I'm execting to be a bit emotional! AF should arrive a couple of days before the appointment, so that probably won't help. Hubby seems totally unfazed by it all! Wish I could be like that!

Too long! We stopped using protection almost 5 years ago & decided to let nature take it's course, but that wasn't working so we started really trying about 2 years ago. It seems so much longer!

hope your appointment goes well.. a good tip is to write down any questions you might have beforehand as they're likely to fly out of your head during the appointment where you might not have much time.. good luck xx

Had the appointment today. All went well.

I've got to go back for blood tests in a few weeks, then we're both off to Bart's for scans & stuff at the beginning of April. Good thing is, the appointment at Bart's is day before good friday, so get a very long weekend! And it's the week of my birthday, so we're gonna make the most of it & stay in London for the weekend! Yay!

I feel a lot happier now! I feel that there is a chance for us to get somewhere now!

I have got my second appointment today, then my blood tests (again!) on Friday.

Got to change the April appointment at Bart's as Hubby can't get the time off work! Damn! Hopefully it's not gonna be too long a wait!
