Those skin prick tests are useless. My whole arm reacted to them and I'm not allegic to anything!!

My GP wouldn't even test our daughter for Peanuts coz he said the skin tests could be dangerous and the NHS hadn't approved or licenced the skin prick - He told me there had been children collapsing when tested. So why are NICE recommending GPs to do this? Is the blood test OK?
