I've had no period

My last period was end of December/ January I've had no period since then just brown discharge, about 3 days ago I had little bit of light pink blood on a tissue as i wiped but then nothing but today I've started again with brown discharge. I've been doctors in March for a swap but nothing is wrong it's all fine
So I'm confused

Are you on any contraception? Or recently come off any?

Is the lack of periods a new thing or have you always been irregular?

I'm regular my cycle was 28day and no no contraception xx
