Hi there 

I hope that you are all well.

Any advice here would be invaluable..

37, first scan this week..found LARGE cyst on left ovary, small fibroid at top of womb, was always reg. now spotting at start of period stopping and then whoosh (sorry that's soo graphic!). 

i am due to get rubella and something else bloods done.. i spotted yesterday, can feel my period coming do I go and get my bloods done tommorrow (3rd day) or wait till I'm having proper period?

    Hi Belle, I would wait until you have a definite period/ flow and go on the third day after that but you could ring your surgery and ask them just to be sure.

    Thanks so much for your email. 

    That makes total sense! You get so you just want to get the tests done dont you!

    Im going to wait less chance of having to go back again a few days later.  Meantime ill just think calming thoughts.. Quite stressed and that tends to hold things up.

    Hi Belle, yes I know all this ttc malarky you need to have a lot of patience but I don't have any! Totally understand the stress of it all. When we started ttc I used IC opk''s but for 6 months wasn't getting a clear reading, so swapped on to CB digi''s which showed I wasn't ov'ING for 3 cycles in a row. I've had day 3 and day 21 bloods but my GP said she wanted to wait until DH has his SA and she'll discuss all results together in one appointment. Now that's all well and good but we had to postpone DH's SA as you have to not have dtd up to 3 days prior to doing SA, and that meant not trying when we were supposed to IYSWIM! Sods law that when I had bloods done I got a positive opk and had a positive this cycle too, really thought we'd cracked it but now got cramps so feel sure af is on her way. DH''s SA this week then off to GP next week/week after to get results. Sorry turned in to an essay! Hope your tests go ok let me know how you get on x
