why would the FC prescribe me clomid???
hello ladies, needing some advice and thought you girls were just the ones to ask!!
me and hubby have been seeing a fertility consultant who has told me to lose weight before he will prescribe me clomid (he says to regulate my periods)
yet my periods are quite regular and more or less normal i would say anyway
so why else would he give me this drug??

Have you had all the investigations? They seem to put "unexplained infertility" couples onto Clomid. From what I understand, its not really to regulate your periods, but regulate your ovulating, make sure you do ovulate and give your ovaries a boost!
From what I've read on here, it seems to have a very good success rate with those who have regular cycles already.
