Well I have got my positive on opk and we have abstained for a few days following some advice to give the sperm time to renew. So fingers crossed, this is the last attempt before our appointment really hope we catch the egg!

Good luck Jo I had mine today and feel thr same oh has has sperm test done and no normal sperm were there but he had 20 million so think that's ok, just hoping there are some swimmers he has to re test, I've got gyno app 1 st oct so would love for it to be natural before that xx

My hubbies results are not perfect either hun, your gp should really give you the numbers really?! even if no explanation, you could have a look online then and see whats what. How long have you been trying? xx

Yeh I know it's really worrying as you don't really know what they mean,he did say he had 20mil but no normal ones were found so they need to re test, been trying since last July and had an ultrasound which found a cyst on my ovary so got another appointment for that then a gyno one 1st oct nor sure what they will say, had blood test to check hormones and all ok, how about you? Xx

Hi joey how you getting on? We will hopefully get our fertility apointment thru this week, when do you go? Found out dh morphology is 0% thr rest is ok that's all we know for now hope your ok xx

Ps my cyst has gone on its own and I have to do the 3 and 21 day blood tests have you done these? X

Hi well af arrived this morning

so at least appointment is Monday. Yeah had the day 3 and 21 bloods came bk ok and that I do ovulate. Hubby's SA have varied quite a bit but morphology always on low side. Hope ur referral comes thru soon it's giving me hope ATM xx

Hello thank you for asking it was great! We are having a pct test next tues! So surprised it is next week! Il be mid cycle so they can see my ovaries and see whether I have follicles also whether I have hostile cervical mucus! And how the sperm is swimming. Dr gonna write a prescription for clomid too for next week. Said that the chance of twins is 1 in 24! Instead of 1 in 80. How are you doing? X

What's a pct? That really good I'm good thanks just trying not to worry, imagine twins whohoo! Just finished af but not worrying this month had my 3 day blood test last week and got my 21 day one in a couple of weeks and just waiting for our apointment to come thru x

Post coital test! Yes we have to have sex 4-12 hrs before our app so they can test my mucus and see how well they are swimming! Lovely! Dignity out the window! Don't think many clinics do pct's anymore but it's quick and simple and can rule it out as a prob! Glad ur getting ur bloods done the more tests you can have done before ur referral app the better! Felt so much more hopeful after today!

well got home to a letter from clinic! only went yesterday! saying we have app on the 21st Jan for follow up I am guessing this is to have the chat of what next if 3 cycles of clomid doesnt work! all feeling real now. Any news on appointment?

Haven't had the referral letter for specialist! Might ring again tomorrow but it was the gynocologyst who referred us so he might not know , she dad say it might be 2 weeks x

how are you getting on? whereabouts are you in your cycle? Just some words of reassurance, hubby has had 3 SA's and all quite different but count good. Consultant looked at all 3 on Monday and only seemed to make reference to the count in general? I have heard a few other ladies say it depends where you go as how much emphasis they put on morphology. They did say they could do a more indepth test to check percentages of moving, slow etc...in the future. Really hope your referral comes through soon : )

Hey joey I'm only cd8 at mo so not thinking about to much, we have my dh 30th in a couple of weeks so looking forward to that, that's good about the morphology! Fingers crossed it will be before Christmas! For both of us! Still no referral letter I did ring docs yesterday but he didn't ring back so will call Monday morning early! Been 2 weeks now! When do you start clomid? That's exciting! I wonder if they will try me on that too! X

Excuse me for gate crashing your thread.

I've just read that your getting clomid, even though you ovulate?

Because of male factor issues.

I'm wondering if they'll give this to me, if I get checked out as ovulating ok.

Hubby's count and motility are good, just morphology on low side 98% abnormal forms. Got one last SA to do, to see if all the vitamins I've got him on improve this, if not back to docs x

Hi MrsHarker, you havent gatecrashed! Yeah they may well do NHS seem to try that if there isnt any female issues, I am having an internal ultrasound and PCT to make sure that the swimmers can get to where they need to go otherwise I guess Clomid isnt worth it without an IUI. Just kinda boosts your egg quaity and sometimes quantity! What vits is he taking? we had improved SA's after taking pycnogenol. All the best x
