metformin-dosage-and-success

Hi I have been ttc since aug 12 and would like to know if anyone has successfully conceived with metformin and how long did it take ? Also what was your dosage and how many did you take a day ? I have bought 500mg tabs private prescription I want to start taking then after surgery any help would be great
