No trip up north this christmas!

Looks like we wont be going up to my inlaws this christmas... which means I wont be at the big 'meet up'! :\(

Dave has got to be here on the 28th ( :roll: ) and I very much doubt we'll make an early start on the 29th....... Hey ho - hopefully I can meet up with a few of you when I next go up. x

    Oh no! That sucks! I was looking forward to meeting you, is Dave having to work? On a plus side for you at leas you don't have to see the inlaws!! x

    Lol Liz - you have a point! I was really looking forward to meeting all of you too.

    Dave wants to go to a banger meet - to be fair its the last racing day before the track closes completely and he has said he could miss it ... but it was said with that expression on his face - you know the one that says if we go up north instead I'll make you feel guilty about it!! :roll:

    He has suggested we travel up early on the monday morning ( image ) but I'm not sure I'll be in a fit state to socialise after a journey like that, at that time of day with the 2 little ones I might be a little bit stressed but we'll see.

    What a shame you won't make it! I am also unsure that we are going to make it - one of our friends here, her little girl was born 27th Dec so they are having a party for her then that I don't want to miss plus it gives us the excuse to escape the inlaws after 2 full days rather than staying an extra 2 full days and as hubbie has agreed to it I think I may go for that option as you all know how I feel about the inlaws!

    Will be sad though!

    Oh Emma!! Nooooooooo! I so wanted you to be there, as we all did! You are always there with hugs and kind words and Maddy and me have been saving up special thankyou hugs. Now I def want to win the lottery so I can hire a private jet to come and pick you up!!! XXX

    hi emalenna, im guessing your talking about westworld raceway??? my partner races stock cars so we used to go there alot! dont no if u remember talking to me, when we were preg for our december babies!! hope alls well xx

    *Amy* - yep its the westworld raceway... Hubby has sold all his stock cars now so he wont be racing but he does enjoy watching, so I would feel guilty saying he couldn't go. Yep I do remember you - how are you? Hope all's well with you too x
