how do you when you are ready,ttc no 2?

in My baby was born in Jan 09
my son is 16 months and up until recently i thought i was ready for no 2, and most of time i feel 70% sure i am. BUT now im unsure if i am thinking of it because as a stay at home mum i no the longer im out work the less better off we are for longer., if you undertand me
anyway my son can be a handful sleep wise although he is getting better and i wonder if i will cope with a baby and a toddler still weaking at night at times.
i dont want to rush into this as will be last baby but i dont want to be out work for longer than need too and have a big gap,does anyone else have this mental argument with self? i guess maybe there will never be right time and carson could be a handful for long time, cant put of forever.

    Hey!

    Jaimi-Lee is also 16 months and were on our 1st month ttc,we decided that we feel ready and 9 months away seems sooo long away lol.

    I'm a sahm too and am thinking about the best time to have number 2. I'm finding it hard cos i'm really not broody for another baby at the mo but don't want a huge age gap between children more for their sake really. Don't really want more than a 3 year gap as I want Isaac to have a sibling who he can play with. But then I think of the newborn stage, lack of sleep etc and think no way do I want that again yet! I'm really enjoying this age and also don't want to take my time away from Isaac whilst he is still my baby! ;\) At the moment our plan is to start ttc in December which would mean a just over a 2.5 yr gap if I fell straight away. I think this is right for us but wonder if I'll even feel ready then!
    I am now on a diet to shed the rest of the baby weight!

    Think you have to go with what feels right for you. There will always be doubts I think. If you do decide to wait a few more months then probably won't make much of a difference financially but then there are no gaurantees Carson will be better with his sleeping then.     yes i think i am ready its more money, i think we will tcc this year at some point.
