What do you feed baby in?

Hi ladies

Just wondering what your baby wears when you feed them? In particular those who are BF'ing. Do you undress them at all/strip off one layer or just leave them in their sleepsuit?

Thanks! NN and Olyvia xxx

hi i have done the same regardless of bf (first 3 weeks) and ff(last 4 weeks, lol) my LO wears sleepsuits day and night (white ones for night time, pretty ones in the day image ) and i just feed her in whatever she has on. when i give her her dream feed she is already in her sleeping bag and i leave her in it otherwise sh gets chilly and takes ages to settle, which defeats the object of the dream feed, i am just careful not to cuddle her whilst doing dream feed so she doesnt get hot x

I feed Monty in whatever he's wearing (sleepsuits). I do put a muslin under his chin as I'm trying infacol at the mo and he tends to dribble some of it and I also tend to spray if he slips off my boob at the start!

    Thanks ladies!

I was just curious because I always take off Lyvi's sleepsuit and feed her in her vest. We used to feed her in just her nappy when she was first born to encourage her to latch on and also to keep her awake as she was sooo sleepy as she was so tiny. Now I just like the skin to skin contact, even if she does have a little vest on, but sometimes she'll fall asleep on the breast at the end of a feed then she gets woken up again when I put her sleepsuit back on! So what I've started doing now is putting it back on when she's almost finished and then putting her back on the breast to see if she wants to go to sleep.

I just feed Sasha in whatever she is wearing, and also keep her in her sleeping bag at night. We also get her dressed in proper clothes during the day and keep sleepsuits for night so she knows the difference between night and day.

Oliver gets fed in whatever he is wearing at the time. He only really wears sleepsuits at night for the same reason as the others have said. I'm treating them like pj's so he can tell the difference between day and night. Also for his night feeds he stays in his sleeping bag. He is wide awake when I go in and it just makes it easier to settle him again after his feed. The less fuss made over night feeds the better. He gets very little from me other than food at night. lol
