Appt went well. Had a full in depth consultation. Have some ointment to rub in directly on her birthmark twice a day and are going back in 2 weeks to see him again and other specialists/consultants to discuss the way forward, possible treatments etc.
We also had a proper photograph taken there and he took a swab from just under the scab! He had a take a bit of the scab off to get under, where all the puss is etc (nice!), she screamed her head off! She didn't like that one bit! Bless her!
I finally feel we are getting somewhere though and we are being taken seriously!
Ah, just mentioned this on the other thread. Glad you are getting somewhere. Poor Jazmine - I wouldn't someone picking my scabs either! Still, it'll be worth it when you get somewhere.
I'm glad you are getting somewhere. Poor little thing, I'm not sure I would have liked having someone pick my scabs then rub a swab around on the raw bit... what a brave little soldier!

How is she getting on now with the ointment?
The ointment has been fab! The scab has fallen off, finally, and it looks much more healthy.
We go back to hospital to see the specialist again next Thurs.
