Gritty Placenta?!!!!!!!!

Just being nosey and reading through my birth notes and it says I had a large "very Gritty" placenta. Just looked on internet and it says its from smoking during pregnancy -(I don't smoke) or pre - eclampsia. My blood pressure was raised for me towards the end and no-one except me seemed worried (I was always either 100/50 or 110/60 but it was coming up at 135/80.)

Does anyone know about this - will also ask my midwife on tue.
