Mini tantrums

Max has started already! He has mini Wobblies getting into his highchair, putting his coat on, if you close a door that he's 'playing ' with (he's obsessed with opening and closing things at the moment) . I'm just ignoring him but it's giving me a taste of things to come-yikes!! Xx

So has Peter! If you stop him playing with the CDS or doorstop, if I don't feed him his breakfast NOW (if not sooner), putting clothes on when he would rather be crawling, changing his nappy... My husband says it is good practice for keeping my temper for when he hits the terrible twos!

On the plus side, Peter's current obsession, other than CDs, is putting things in and taking them out so we are practicing our putting away skills every day. Only middling success so far!

Lol! Ive seen your status on FB about his tantrum with the CD's! Glad it's not just me!

Yeh, Max is into putting things in and taking them out-he emptied my makeup bag this morning but then put it all back again so couldnt complain. He also likes putting his toys in a pile then moving them into another pile. Its so funny what they find entertaining!xx

Tantrums gallore with us !! Like if I take the tv control box, GHD's, stones out the plant pots off her before they make it to her mouth - Screaming and shouting and only 10 months old!! Thought it was only my little madam that did that, glad we're not alone!!

Freya is doing the same thing. She stomped her feet because she didn't want to get in the bath the other day, it was rather funny. She also throws herself on the floor in a really dramatic fashion occasionally when I take something away from her. As you say, I thought we were a long way off that!!!

Woomummy, hope your Monday is better than your weekend was. Hope, if it is that your lo is sick, that she is feeling better. Hugs x

Woomummy - sorry Evan is not well - fingers crossed that he'll start to respond to the anti b's very soon.. Daisy has been really poorly as well and we had a mad dash to hospital on Saturday night as she had a VERY high temperature which wouldn't come down and her eyes were rolling into the back of her head. Very scary - they think she could have had a convulsion (just the start of one) but it was just awful!!!

As for tantrums, Daisy-Mae is the absolute queen of them!!! She stamps her feet, goes rigid and screams absolute blue murder when she doesn't get her way... It's absolutely hilarious!! Although I'm sure I won't find it funny in a few months time... image

Oh, woomummy, poor Evan! Hope he is better soon. At least he is taking water - hydration will really help (according to my friend who is a paeds specialist)

And poor Daisy, Mrs B! Peter did something similar in December when he had tonsilitis. Really frightening when he went white and floppy and totally lost focus. Hope she is also on the way to recovery.

Lots of love and hugs to all poorly babies and their stressed-out mummies! x

seems lots of poorliness going around lately, austin started with diarrhoea (sp?) 2weeks ago, then progressed onto a very nasty cold,, high temp, waking all night, (one night we only had 20mins sleep all night!) poor loves, i hope they get better soon.

austin gets stroppy if u take somehting off him and chucks himself on the floor in a paddy! he does the same thing at night too, if he's decided at 4am he wants to get up and u go in to put his dummy back as soon as u pick it up he throws himself about in a strop. xx
