new & excited....

hi all, this is my first post on this website,

me & my fiance are going to start trying for a baby this september - after we get back from disney world - and we're both very excited at the prospect! i'm making the most of the next few months, drinking, going out, laying in etc...have no illusions about the reality once we become parents! lol!

also trying to work out when i ovulate, so we know roughly when we should be doing the deed!

anyway, even though we have a few months yet before we start trying, i wanted to get on here & become familiar with you all, get as many tips as i can! also, it'll be nice to talk with other women as broody as me!

    Hi There

It's really exciting isn't it when you start planning, I took supplements and made sure I was eating a healthy balanced diet and have continued to do so since starting to try for a baby last September. Still no luck yet but if I'm honest haven't been trying ultra hard. I decided that the chilled approach might be the best option for me as I could see myself getting a bit obsessed about the whole thing. Have had many friends fall pregnant after months of trying when they relaxed and decided to stop trying to hard, so I think it's made me believe in the staying chilled approach. As I've not yet fallen I guess I'm not the best person to be giving advice but I like others suggestions from this site of not telling other half when you are ovulating, bums on pillows seems a good idea to me too (and has worked for friends), every other day rather than every day (depending on sperm count), using ov kits, which I have done a few months and just help you sus when in the month you ov.....anyway I'm sure lots of the others will have some more suggestions for you.....relax, have fun and enjoy it.....xxx
