ov test q's? advice plz ladies

hey ladies, i bought some tests yesterday as i have only just had the return of my af (due to bf) so wanted to make sure i am ovulating again. its only 9 days since it returned but wanted to test as early as possible to make sure i dont miss it if i do ov early/late with cycle only just returning, i tested this morning and it came back possitive so i tested again this afternoon to make sure it was right and that came back possitive too. however i am still spotting slightly, would this effect the results at all? even though its only 9 days will the test be right?
