hi all, i have BAD hayfever today, i should really go and buy some tablets. I was only told I have it last year as whenever i went out my eyes would water and go blurry.

Hiya, I have a 28/29 day cycle (depending on which day you count it on) which falls on the same day of the week each month. However, my luteal phase is quite short, therefore, although Im only 5/6 DPO my AF is due in 5 days - is that long enough, if AF doesnt arrive to test??
Hi MrsS, implantation can happen anywhere between 7-12dpo for most women. As long as the LP is at least 10 days it's enough time. Are you counting to your first red blood of af? You can test from the day you expect af, but sometimes bfp's can take time to appear. xx
Thanks for your reply mithical. Well, TBH, I'm not expecting any miracles this month, I'm sure its highly unlikely that I will have to test this month, but just wanted to know for future months. I count my cycle as 28 days regular - basically, it starts with a show of spotting on the Wednesday, and exactly 4 weeks later, it starts again with the spotting, but full flow probably isnt normally till the Friday. So perhaps my luteal phase is longer than I think??? OPK was positive on Saturday, but that predicts your ovulation in the next 12-24hrs, making my ovulation day CD19, is that right???
Yeah sounds like your LP could be a couple of days longer that you thought.
Don't know much about OPK's I'm afraid. But if you think CD19 was ov, then you still have a reasonable LP if you add on the 2 days of just spotting. It's the time before ov which can lengthen, the LP only changes by a day usually.
Yes I am a nurse. Work on a discharge ward (mainly elderly), but we're closing soon. So all change. May end up working on a medical emergency ward for the elderly...so a bit like you! lol xx
I thought so - which hospital do you work in? Is it a delayed discharge ward that you are on at the moment then - those awaiting social sort outs? We only have one MAU and we take everything medical, a real mix but we are supposed to be merging with A&E and the SAU in a few years time, should be interesting...
I'm quite relieved then if that is the case with my LP, its probably nearer the 12 day mark afterall then!! Bit of relief.

I work at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. We'll have 2 MEW's. It is a delayed discharge ward, or rather it ends up being! When the OT, physio, social process hasn't been started before they get to us!
This is our 3rd month, don't test until 28th, and PMA is floundering a little! xx
I know the feeling, I doubt very much that it will come to POAS this month, on nights anyway so hopefully that will distract me. Thats one thing I'm trying to be optimistic about!!

Fi i think actuallly id b due on 7th aswell cos if its 31 day cycle that 7th cos its only a 30 day month so i can still test or af with you xxxxx
hi twizzlepie - sorry to hear you have no pma, i havent really thought about ttc for the last week because oh been home and getting garden done. luckily when looking back in my diary we have bd every other day since cd7 without realising. im glad we can test the same day again! make sure you dont resist this time missy LOL hehe definatly keep bd every other day hun that way you cant miss your chance like us. I had ewcm for 5 days and high cervix for a week. Today my cm is sticky and cervix is lower so i know i have already ov just not the exact day. xxxx
Suppose I'd better get myself on here too (see my introductory post in 'Introduce Yourself'). I'm only 2nd month TTC. AF last month, so I'll be ready to have my first ever POAS experience next weekend (if AS is late). Hee hee!
As an aside....Does anyone else feel guilty about TTC when they've just been in a new job for 6 months? I was looking forward to giving up work if we had children, but now I feel the company really needs me and I should consider going back (part-time) asap after birth.
hey girls, how is every one feeling?, come on mithical and k-lou i love listening to your symptoms i haven't got any symptoms and also have sticky cm like after you OV but as i say i dunno when i OV'd think it must have been when i had that bit of blood as it was very stringy then, we BD about 3 times then so fingers crossed fi - i wont test hun i promise, only got one test left LOL so might even try and leave it longer if AF doesnt arrive xxxx
I have very sore boobs, to the point I found it difficult to get back to sleep, when I woke up at 2am. Have a general ache in my lower abdo, with a few twinges now and again. But my boobs are the worst!! xx
Two heads over the weekend Fuller boobs Sore nips and sides of boobs Area around nips look like they are protruding - it;s really nasty!!! CM like lotion a little bit how it looks before af and globs of yellow stringy stuff. Area above the pubic bone is still bloated and swollen looking Twinges on and off Back ache still I did sleep most of saturday during the day as well which i never do. My belly keeps growling
Thats it really, these could all be signs i am coming on though so you just never know?
They are all the same eh?? Throat is dry again today so defo think it is hay fever ;-(
This week is going to be sooo long and next saturday is my mums birthday party she is having a bbq and loads of people are coming, i am so worried it will be a BFN and I will have to go arond there and try and be happy you know.
