OV facts from GP

Hi

I visited my GP yesterday to discuss my bloods results from the hospital, which showed that I have thrombophilia (blood clotting disorder which may explain my 2 consecutive MCs).

I am now taking aspirin daily to help with a future successful Pg and have been advised that I will prob need to self inject daily when/if I get PG again.

Anyhoos...

I asked if you can OV twice in one cycle as I had +ives on OVKs and then over a week later had loads of cm - also asked cause I had conceived twins first time. The answer is NO - You cannot ovulate twice in one cycle. The only possible way you can conceive twins is if you release two eggs (which will be released 2 hours apart AT THE MOST) or if you release one egg and it divides into two after fertilization from a little swimmer.

This makes me conclude that the OVKs I was using were not accurate, as I reckon there's more chance I was OVing at the time I got the ewcm - lets hope so as I bd'ed more then!

Just thought I'd share that with you. Hope it helps someone.

Have also found a good site about cm (with drawings to help!! eek! image) Here it is...

...and another great website which gives info on the stages of OV to pregnancy

Take care, Love Em xxxxxxxxxx
