Ovulation, does anyone know?

Hi, i'm already pregnant but my friend has come off hormone tablets and has been bleeding for 2wks now, can you still ovulate whilst bleeding or should she just wait till it stops?

    I am not really sure I would not of thought so, if i was her i would just see her gp just to get checked over and to make sure all is well.
